Hunting Labradors Retriever Puppies

Thank you for your interst in SkyRiver Retrievers. We specilize in field bred Labrador Retrievers. Field or American Labradors are athletic and have a medium build. We have black, yellow and chocolate puppies throughout the year. On occasion our puppies have small white markings on their chest or toes. Our dogs tend to be a bit smaller in stature (females 48 to 60 lbs, males 60 to 75lbs). Our Labs are atheletic and have natural retriever instints, love the water and are entergetic but not hyper. Most of our puppies also have a natural apptitude to point birds as well! About 50% of our dogs go to active family homes vs hunting homes. If you are looking for an active family companion we could be a good match. Our experience is as long as your puppy is getting lots of exercise, is taught manners/obedience and included in family activites, they will be happy and good citizens. Our dogs also excel in a wide realm of venues; Search and Rescue/Avalanche work, Obedience, Rally, Dock Diving, agility, service/thearpy dogs and hunt tests and trails.

What to expect when inquiring or purchasing a SkyRiver Retriever

EMAIL: With the influx of request our response times on emails could be delayed but we do respond to them in order they are received. If you have not heard back from us in a couple of days feel free to send a second email. You are important to us and we are doing our best to respond quickly and thoughtfully. VISITS: We are scheduling visits on a limited basis. If you would like to meet our adult dogs before your puppy pickup, please let us know and we will work with you.

TRANSPORTATION: We have still been able to transport our puppies via Alaska Airlines but some flights are limited and we will only send our puppies on direct flights. This could mean traveling to an airport that is not your first choice. Our puppy’s safety is our top priority. We do have some ground transport connections if that is something you would like to explore.

PICKUP DAY: On pickup day appointments will be scheduled hourly with time in between to disinfect and limit exposure to other families

SICK: Please be respectful, if you or a family member have been sick, please speak up, we will make arrangements for you to pick your puppy virtually.

*All of our puppies come with a 26th month warranty. We do not sell our dogs as guaranteed breeding stock*
